Roll out your picnic rug & see the candlelight shine bright
Enjoy traditional and modern Christmas carols performed by Wodonga’s awarded 40-peice Wodonga Brass Band, over 27 soloist performers, and the 12-voice strong Wodonga Carols Choir. Oh! and I hear Santa will make a special appearance too!
CANDLES:
Traditional flame and electronic candles will be available for purchase for $5, with 100% of proceeds going to Albury Wodonga Health. Simply head over to the ‘Candle Stall’ located near the food vendors.
Card payment available.
CAR PARKING:
Access event parking from Pearce Street, including disabled parking and a dedicated drop-off zone.
Overflow parking can be accessed from Hereford Street - our local SES volunteers will direct traffic on the night.
ACCESSIBILITY & AUSLAN:
Wodonga Carols is an inclusive event. There will be accessible seating available for wheelchairs, with access via concrete paths, and an AUSLAN interpreter on stage with signage indicating the best location to enjoy the show.
FIRST AID:
St John Ambulance Victoria volunteers will be roving throughout the event and will have a base tent located near the Willow Park Kiosk.
If you require assistance on the night, you can also ask one of our volunteers in highvis.
TOILETS:
Toilets are located behind the Willow Park Kiosk, past the food vans.
Follow the signs if you’re lost.
FOOD & DRINKS:
15+ local food vendors will be available from 6:00pm, including sweet treats and drinks.
You can also pack a picnic and bring your own food. Small picnic eskies are allowed. Small amounts of alcohol are allowed (i.e. no more than a 6 pack of beer).
COST / ADMISSION:
Wodonga Carols by Candlelight is a FREE community event.
There is no cost to attend.
BROADCAST:
Wodonga Carols will be broadcast live on 1494 2AY from 7:30pm on Sunday 14 December, and re-broadcast from 12:00 noon on Christmas Day.

What not to bring
The following things are not allowed at Wodonga Carols by Candlelight:
Tents of any size, gazebos, and umbrellas.
Domestic animals / pets with the exception of trained assistance animals.
Large amounts of alcohol - e.g. slabs of beer, spirits, casks of wine. Bags and eskies may be checked upon entry or at any other time if event staff suspect too much alcohol is being brought into the event or intoxication.
Scooters, bikes, skateboards, e-scooters, e-bikes.
Drones and kites.
Smoking and vaping.
